COACHING OPPORTUNITIES
The Darien Public Schools is accepting applications for coaching positions on an ongoing basis.
IMPORTANT: Please state the sport(s) you are willing to coach in the application.
Per State of Connecticut regulations, appointment to all coaching positions, whether paid or volunteer, require a Five Year Renewable Coaching Permit or eligibility for a Temporary Emergency Coaching Permit (which requires a copy of a U.S. high school diploma or official U.S. high transcript or foreign equivalency as attested to by a State of CT Dept. of Education approved agency*, current first aid and CPR certification and Module 15 concussion management certficate). Coaches holding Five Year Renewable Coaching Certificates must have current first aid, CPR and Module 15 certification.

REPORTS TO: Director of Athletics
REQUIREMENTS: Connecticut Five Year Renewable Coaching Permit or eligibility for Temporary Emergency Coaching Permit Current First Aid and CPR/AED Certification; Concussion Management (Module 15) Certificate, Temporary Emergency Coaching Permit requires First Aid/CPR/AED certification, Concussin Management Certificate, U.S. High School diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent OR official U.S. College Transcript showing awarding of degree or U.S. equivalent of foreign credentials
COMPENSATION: Stipend per Contract between Darien Board of Education and Darien Education Association (www.darienps.org, Departments, Human Resources, Union Contracts)
